Your tour will begin by soaring 10,000 feet above the amazing Haleakala crater and view the moon like landscape of this dormant volcano. With it’s over 60 red cinder cones, and vast size you’ll view the crater from angles and heights only seen by Helicopter. Soon we’ll drop down through the Kaupo gap viewing the path where lava escaped the massive crater all the way to sea level. You will head along the dramatic rugged coastline and land at a pristine Maui black sand beach only accessible by Helicopter. ALEXAIR is the only Helicopter company with permits to land at this unique location making your tour extra special. Here you’ll take a 30 minute stop for tropical refreshments, exploring and photos. Back on board we’ll head towards the incredible Hana Rainforest located on the far east end of Maui. You will hover next to some of Maui’s most beautiful waterfalls that can only be seen from the air. Fly through rainbows and soar over the Sacred Pools of O'heo all the while getting a Birds Eye view of Maui's rugged North Shore coastline.  You’ll see the waterfalls and pools in each of Maui’s tropical valleys along the north shore. As we enter Central Maui you’ll be treated to views of the sugar cane field patchwork over the central valley. You’ll return to the Maui Heliport over the last of the north shore beaches and land softly back at our home base, where you can shop for souvenirs and pick up your personalized photo of your trip.
